AP CS A (nee NeXTCS: Java With Creativity and Rigor)

Advanced Placement Computer Science A is a year long course taught using Java in the Processing graphical programming framework. It will cover data structures, algorithms and object oriented programming in a project-based, collaborative classroom. This class will cover the College Board’s APCS A curriculum as well as extra topics for enrichment. Students who complete APCS A will be able to apply to the advanced computer science electives in the following year.
