Labs must be completed at home if you do not finish in school.

LAB 01:

Any lab must be completed at home if you do not finish in class, all challenge problems should be completed by everyone to the best of their ability.

Part A.
Today you will duplicate the appearance of the following website: (when working at home use the gif attached to the post if the school is slow)
http://marge.stuy.edu/~konstans/lab01/lab01a.gif
  1. You should write it in HTML, and use any tags you learned.
  2. The only image tag should be the one inside the table. You cannot just load the picture as your website... that is just lame.
  3. When you finish, place it in your public_html folder, name the file lab01a.html

Note:
1. There are additional options for tags that go after the tag but before the closing >.
<table border="1">   for example.
There are many similar options to affect table sizes and image sizes. You should look at those to match your tables.
2. If you want to use colors, take a look at ~konstans/amazing.html and ~konstans/style.css   as those files will show a nice clean way of doing so.

Part B:
Now try do duplicate this website as well: (do your best!)  (when working at home use the Jpg attached to the post if the school is slow)
http://marge.stuy.edu/~konstans/lab01/lab01b.jpg
  1. You must use the same images.
  2. The images should be approximately the same size as shown.
  3. Text centering, justification, and style (including color) should be duplicated.
  4. This is a challenge problem. I expect everyone to try, and succeed at some parts of it, but very few people will get it exactly as depicted. Don't worry if you can't duplicate ALL colors/alignment/images. Do your best!
  5. Put this in your public_html folder and name the file lab01b.html

IMPORTANT: Please use the links ABOVE which are local to the school. If they do not work, you can use the links below which are hosted externally and take up bandwidth. complete at home.
